George Maysonet
Head Coach George Maysonet is now in his 6th season as the Barracuda head coach. Under Maysonet, CRHS has won 2 District championship, and has reached the Region finals in 2 of the 6 seasons.
The Influence of Maysonet's Program on College Soccer in the U.S.
Over the course of these 6 seasons CRHS has had many players extend there soccer careers into Division I and 2 colleges. Several players earned starting positions their freshman year and were able to make major contributions for their programs.
Maysonet in His Student/Athlete Days
Attended Killian High 76-78 where they won the school's first State Championship in 1977. Attended Miami Community College 78 -80 where they participated in 2 National Championship tournaments, winning it all in 1979. Attended FIU in 84-86 where they won the National Championship 1984. As a Graduate Assistant in 85 they finished 2nd.
George's Family
Maysonet was born on December 7, 1960, in Manhattan, New York. He has 5 children and 1 grandchild: Chanel 23 and her daughter, granddaughter Taylor 15 months. Austen 10, Brenden 9, Madisen 6, and Claiten 4. The kids are very active in soccer and karate. They enjoy interacting and being part of the CRHS program.
Maysonet's soccer origins stem from his youth when he lived in Peru. His family moved all around the world as his father was an international businessman.
