Five values define everything we do:
Incarnational Ministry - Transformation begins when the Word of God is planted in soils of lost people. We make it our aim to plant ourselves in the lives of our city beginning with the 90,000 unchurched people who live in Westchester, Olympia Heights and their surrounding communities. Everything about our mission progresses as long as lost people are becoming followers of Christ.
Prayer - Prayer is a public and private expression of our absolute dependence on God to bring spiritual transformation. We cannot produce reproducing followers of Christ. Only God can. Prayer is the power behind the transformation of lost people and their development to become reproducing followers of Christ.
Transformation - God saved us to produce in us a total life change. This is how we measure successful incarnational ministry. Transformation is the natural result of a growing relationship with Christ. It is rooted and grounded in Biblical truth and grows as we grow in discipleship, worship and mission.
Community - We grow best in groups. God never intended for man to do life alone. He gave us each other to nurture, strengthen and encourage the deeper relationship with Christ that produces a total life transformation. We are commanded to first have a Christ-centered family, our first and most important group. We are also commanded to not neglect meeting with our local church for worship and encouragement. We are also commanded to commit to the developing our spiritual foundations in a small group Bible study environment.
Reproducing Leadership - The best indicator of spiritual health is followers of Christ reproducing themselves. We have been chosen to produce lasting fruit. This is the measurement for successas a church. This is best demonstrated in seeing people enter into an eternal relationship with Christ by faith (lasting) and becoming people who reproduce (fruit) this relationship with Christ into the lives of others who will do the same also.
